Jessica is a lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at the University of York where she specialises in the analysis of ancient proteins. Her research focuses on developing and applying ancient protein analysis as a tool for understanding past dietary consumption practices, disease, and aspects of human and animal life. In FORAGER, she advises on biomolecular approaches to animal management and husbandry.
