I am an Assistant Professor of Climate Science at the University of Cambridge. My research focuses on reconstructing past climate variability using climate proxies, observations, and climate-model simulations. I am interested in timescales ranging from the recent historical to the geologic past. My group and I develop quantitative approaches for proxy-model integration and paleoclimate data assimilation, and work on problems relating to past temperature, ocean circulation, hydroclimate, sea ice, and cryosphere change. I will be leading on Work Package 3 within the FORAGER project.
