I am a biomolecular archaeologist looking at ancient cooking practices and foodways. I am Head of the International Cooperation Section at Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties in Japan and will be responsible for problem setting and sampling for biochemical and demographic studies targeting the Japanese archipelago, working together with members of the York team.
